Preyground pg 12 - revised by Moriadat Preyground pg 12 - revised by Moriadat
Hi. I'm back.

I don't seem to have the presence of mind required to sit down and work on a novel anymore. I don't know if it's work tiring me out, or what I suspect is an advanced case of mercury poisoning messing with my head, but I just don't have the clarity required for writing right now. I've gotten as far as sorting out the synopses, dividing the larger story into a series of shorter, more manageable ones, but that's it. Brain-fog and the Call of Skyrim have hamstrung my efforts to go any further.

The first twelve pages I've already drawn no longer exist in the new version. Ash appears atop the hill we see in the distance on this page, and has his first bestian encounter pretty much straight away.

However.

These first twelve pages are still among the best stuff I've ever drawn, and I've no desire to consign them to the Drawer of Doom. So I'm keeping them, and segueing straight into the new version from here. All that was required were some minor changes to this page, and I can pretty much dive right in.

I'm not sure if this is the start of regular output again. I only want to continue if I can radically simplify my linework so it doesn't take so damn long to do each page. If I can do that, you'll see more art on a fairly regular basis.

The first twelve pages are one of my most favorite indeed and I have no doubt that the new version will be real joy to read. I also deeply sympathize with the problem of taking too much time to do a page, and with the Skyrim drive as well :B

Man, Skyrim's a fine piece of work, isn't it? Between us, my daughter and I have clocked up over 310 hours on it ... and the lion's share of that is mine.

I dare not to check records of the time spent there, but it's the same for my son and me. Though I have the bigger hammer :)

The new version is less adventury and a little more brutal, but I think you'll like it still :)
