Usually what happens is, I'll submit a page as soon as I think it's finished, then notice half a dozen things that have to be fixed, fix them, then re-submit. I thought I'd sit on this page for a week to see if I could find the faults BEFORE submitting the art, and lo and behold, I did. There was no corpse behind our trio in the final panel; now there is

You may notice less detail on this page. This is about the level of detail I'll be using from now on, unless I want to really slow down the pace. I just want to finish the story before I die of old age. There's still good stuff coming up though, at least one full splash page and a two-page spread on the way.

Work is still demanding lots of my time, and I may start fiddling with some tattoo designs, with the intention of shipping them round to the local tattooists to see if they want to take on an apprentice. I understand it's a difficult business to get into, but it's got to be less exhausting and more engaging than the job I've got.

Also, my brother has asked me to do some art for a book proposal he's submitting soon, and I've never been able to say no to my bro All this means is that Burned Oak may continue to be sporadic for a little while yet. I'll upload the other stuff I do, if it's good.
